The OptiQwave 8100 series of products are full featured, but at lower cost of total ownership microwave products. Combining the highest reliability and cost-effective architecture design, the OptiQwave 8100 series delivery both legacy PDH and Ethernet services for transmission at a carries class performance.

The OptiQwave 8100 series operate at license-exempt 5.8GHz ISM band with 80 Km eye-sight reaching distance. The OptiQwave 8140 , 8180 and 8116 model deliver 4, 8 and 16 E1/T1 tributary links individualy. Adoping the modular and hot swapable design, the E1/T1 and ethernet interface cards are arbitarily combined in the system for various application. The transmission is encrypted for data security.

The 1+1 system protection is provided while combined with FiberLogic's OptiQwave 815x series. All the E1/T1 tributary, ethernet channel and RF link status are under the supevision of OptiQwave 815x, the service unit automatically switches to the standby one immediately while any link status is fail.

The OptiQview NMS (network managemnet service) provides the GUI platform managing all OptiQwave elements in the network. It supports full featured administration, alarm report and maintenance operation at a single workstation. The installation and commision efforts are greatly reduced through the user friendly GUI platform.

PSTN Service Extending for the Rural Area:

Due to difficult terrain, harsh environment or sparse population characteristic of the rural area, the deployment of optic fiber or wire cable is not commercially feasible to the carrier operator. Microwave point to point link solution is the ideal strategy to extend the PSTN voice and data service to the rural edge. 2G/3G Mobile Network Backhauling:

Fiber optic, copper wire or microwave radio link is the commonly applied backhaul connection between the BST (Base Station) and BSC (Base Station Controller). While there is no network infrastructure built between BST and BSC, The microwave radio links are considered as the most cost effective and prompt way in record time to provide the mobile service to the subscribers. FiberLogic’s OptiQwave series of products are deployed worldwide and act as simple and reliable fail-safe network backhauling for the 2G and 3G carriers.
